Ms. Maura Clohessy
Maura holds a Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy from the Tivoli Institute.Maura completed her internship with Student Counselling Services at the University of Limerick. She is now based in Oakwood as a full time therapist. Maura’s therapeutic approach is Humanistic &integrative, Person- Centred, CBT and Gestalt.
Maura’s professional background is in primary school teaching and working with children who had additional needs, supporting them and their parents. During this time she gained valuable experience working with children and adults, learning how the individual can grow and thrive when encouraged and understood.
Maura works with individuals, couples, students, teenagers and parents. She works with many issues such as anxiety and stress, anger management, work related issues and family conflict, depression, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties.
