Psychotherapist and Critical Incident Facilitator
Noel is an accredited Psychotherapist who completed his training in Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy in Cork Counselling Centre Training Institute. Since then he has worked as trainee and intern in the University of Limerick and in private practice at Oakwood. Noel is Accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, (IACP).
Noel has achieved degrees and diplomas from UCD, UCC, St. Patrick’s College of Education and the Open University. He has a BA and Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology and an MA in Education. Noel has also completed training in Critical Incident Debriefing, CBT, Anxiety and Depression, Suicide Awareness and Prevention, Child Protection, Dyslexia, Mindfulness and Stress Relief.
Noel has extensive experience of group facilitation and workshop delivery in adult training in the area of Mental Health, Critical Incident Debriefing Facilitator, Suicide Prevention and Self-Care.
Noel works on a one to one basis with clients in an accepting, supportive and empowering way to provide people with a safe and positive atmosphere in which to tackle the issues they bring. Areas covered in this work include bereavement and loss, relationships, workplace problems, self-esteem, adolescent and student issues, health, anxiety and depression, bullying and sexuality. Noel’s work is guided by his commitment to integrative care for the whole person as a unique individual.
