John is a qualified Gestalt Psychotherapist. He is also trained in suicide intervention and bereavement support. He is accredited by the IAHIP. As well as working in Oakwood, John has his own private practice in Limerick. He also facilitates groups on topics of mindfulness, personal development and stress management.
He has experience of working with a range of difficulties including Panic attacks, Anxiety, Abuse, Depression, Stress management, Anger management, Bullying, Self esteem, Bereavement, OCD, Relationships, Self harm, Suicidal ideation, Phobias, PTSD, Relationships, Personal development, Spirituality and Work related issues. John works with couples, individuals and adolescents
John combines his skills of psychotherapy, education and life experience, to provide support, knowledge, experience and the necessary tools to help his clients gain new life skills and increased levels of self awareness in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
