Mr. Eugene Stephens
Eugene holds a Masters in Gestalt Psychotherapy and is accredited with the Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP). He graduated as a psychotherapist from the Irish Gestalt Center and completed his Masters (MA) with the Gestalt Institute of Ireland at Carlow IT.
Eugene follows a humanistic and integrative approach. He aims to accompany his clients in a supportive holistic way. Thus increasing awareness of their power and potential. By identifying blocks they are afforded the opportunity for growth and change, experiencing life in the here-and-now in a more rewarding and meaningful way. He works with the full array of issues in presenting adolescents, adults and couples. Eugene is also trained in suicide prevention.
In a professional capacity he spent many years in industry working from ground level to board level. In a private capacity he also gained experience working with groups, voluntary, statutory and community based, in the interest of social inclusion. He also spent a couple of years working in the counselling department of the University of Limerick.
He is a keen sportsman and represented Ireland at an international level in Karate. This life experience combined with his professional training has equipped him well to deal with a range of emotional issues whether personal or business related.
Amongst his qualifications are an MSc (grad) in Management of Operations from D.C.U., a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree from the Institute of Public Administration and he is a graduate of The Marketing Institute of Ireland.
