Janko Škudar
Janko is a pre-accredited member of IACP and an intern at Oakwood Psychology and Psychotherapy Consultants. He works with adults and is fascinated with how the past impacts the present. In therapy, it means recognising the behaviours, attitudes, thoughts, and feelings which do not serve us anymore. To facilitate the exploration of these patterns, Janko uses a non-judgemental, empathetic, and genuine approach to clients.
Janko graduated from PCI college where he was trained as an integrative therapist. The word integrative implies that Janko uses an individualized, holistic approach to therapy by combining techniques from various therapeutic modalities (humanistic, existential, cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic and gestalt) tailored to the unique needs of each client. The areas of his work include depression, anxiety, bereavement, stress, self-esteem, trauma, relationship issues, problems at work, addiction.
