    Bruna Pinzon

    Bruna is a Psychologist who has achieved a first-class Bsc honours degree in Psychology at the Paraná State Federal University (UFPR), Brazil. She also has achieved a postgraduate degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Catholic University of Paraná (PUC PR), Brazil. Bruna currently holds a dual professional registration being a registered graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) as well as the Regional Psychology Council in Brazil.

    Bruna has been working in the field of psychotherapy with people living across Europe and America. She is an Intercultural Psychotherapy Specialist, she has helped many immigrants to adjust their lives in a new country and find their own resourcefulness and strengths to move forward with confidence in their lives in a new environment.

    Nowadays, Bruna works mainly with adults, natives and immigrants, who are experiencing challenges in their lives, family or work. She helps clients through Cognitive Behaviour Therapy incorporating the Humanistic-Existential approach.

    Bruna works with a variety of presenting issues including:

    • Anxiety and social anxiety
    • Depression and stress
    • Behavioural issues
    • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
    • Emotional pain
    • Social skills and self-esteem issues
    • Relationship difficulties and family conflict
    • Trauma and PTSD.

    Bruna understands starting psychotherapy is not easy, but it can be rewarding, especially when the transformation starts.

    Bruna’s mission is to support individuals to achieve their therapeutic goals helping them to identify their own abilities and strengths. She believes that by changing the way people think and act, they can achieve a significant improvement in the way they regulate their feelings. To be able to do that she offers a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients with compassion and empathy.
