
Ms. Kelly Quayle
Kelly Quayle is an accredited Counselling Psychologist having completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in South Africa at the University of Natal. Kelly currently holds dual professional registration being a registered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland as well as the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Kelly was trained predominantly in psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural therapy techniques but has also had training in art therapy, play therapy, strategic therapy, solutions focussed therapy and group therapy during this time. Kelly’s internship year took place in a child and family assessment and therapy centre where she performed psychological, educational, emotional and career assessments with her clients as well as providing therapy to children, adolescents, students and adults.
Kelly has had the benefit of working in the field of psychology in various countries including Australia, Scotland, South Africa and Ireland and within a variety of work contexts including child and family centres, student counselling centres, the NHS and the private sector. Within those settings she has provided both assessment and therapeutic services to her clients. Kelly has a passion for engaging therapeutically with people as they grapple with specific questions or problems and/or more general psychological issues such as depression and anxiety. She believes that everyone who approaches counselling wants to feel happier and have a more fulfilling life and Kelly aims to harness the inner resilience of her clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
